Dr. Perlov has been really fantastic to work with. He is very conscientious of my needs when providing suggestions for my care. Jocelyn with the front desk has also been very patient with me and extremely helpful. Overall my experience with the practice has been amazing as I am always met with kindness and professionalism.
I’ve had some positive moments with my clinician—they’ve been supportive during sessions, and I genuinely appreciate that. But overall, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing due to poor communication and negative interactions with staff. I came to this facility specifically seeking a specific diagnosis, which I clearly stated when booking. After driving to La Jolla and sitting through a long, invasive session, I was told at the end that they don’t even offer evaluations for either condition. That should’ve been disclosed upfront. It felt misleading and exploitative. When I called to cancel the rest of my appointments, the receptionist was short and dismissive, offering no apology or professionalism. Dr. Kearny is an amazing psychiatrist! Courtney one of the office staff was extremely helpful in helping me with my questions in regards to my medication. Thank you Courtney for your help it is greatly appreciated! Your costumer service is top notch and should not go unnoticed!!!
this office is negligent. Providers will not give you their contact information and then it will be impossible to contact the office. I have no way of contacting them about my medication and needs. The office woman also has been rude to me when i was successfully able to call and said “I do jot need to talk to my doctor”, which is extremely insensitive to a patient when she has no idea whats going on.
