We have been regulars at the Tavern since it opened and regret that the service has gone so far downhill that we will not be returning. Our server was young and friendly, but with a bit of attitude. Drink order came and was filled promptly, at which point we were told that bread and butter would be coming right out. Fifteen minutes later, the bread arrived at the same time as our salad course. We had to get up from the table to find someone who would get us fresh cracked pepper. Then we waited another 20-25 minutes after our... read more

I wanted to be seated in the dinning room but, they would not accommadate us even though the room was empty. We were seated next to a large party that made enough noise to wake the dead. My wife finally went to ask if we could move but, by that time the first course arrived with our wine so we stayed put. The food was good but, not exceptional . The service was okay. We are not going back and, we will tell others of our experience

We came for Fathers Day on the Saturday before. So did many other people so it was crowded. In addition, there was a wedding. Consequently, there should have been more staff present than normal and it didn’t seem as if there was. It took us 3 hours to complete our meal and it wasn’t because we ate slowly. It was because we had to wait at least 45 minutes between courses. We chose the Tavern because we had a toddler with us and the waiting ruined the experience for everyone.

The food and service was excellent but the board noise and live band ruined our anniversary dinner they should let you know if there’s going to be a band 5 feet from your table and what time it starts playing

We found both the regular and restaurant week menus, very limited, too much use of chick peas in so many dishes. Waitress good, but restaurant makes a big production of serving one piece of bread per person, never asked if we wanted more. Restaurant week steak dish excellent, al a carte menu duck dish dry. The salad greens were not torn properly , too big, necessitating cutting the leaves, which should never be done. Worst of all was trying to get our car out to go home. We had parked in a row of cars where there were no "no... read more

I was so disappointed, having been a fan of Mirabelle for a long time. We were a foursome, a wedding was taking place, the service was horrendous. We were advised that they could not accommodate us with 4 prixe fix dinners as there wasn't enough time. We allowed two hours for the dinner before show time. (8 pm at SB). I have never been advised to NOT order a dinner due to the staff not able to get it to us in time. Noise was horrible. Waiters running all over the place, broken wine glasses at the doorway upon leaving. We had... read more

It's hard to believe that Guy Reuge is still associated with Mirabelle. In the old location I have had some of the best culinary experiences of my life. On Saturday the experience was terrible. There was a complete lack of caring at every level, from the people we checked with, to the server and her complete lack of knowledge, to the mediocre food. Several of our dishes came out at room temperature. I will never go back ! Did the Lessing's just buy the Mirabelle name. I find it had to believe Guy Reuge would allow this to ha... read more

We made a reservation for Sunday the 25th and the restaurant called us a night before to confirm it was for the brunch buffet specifically. So we arrive at 11am when our reservation was and it was clear they had a wedding event there. I didn't think much of it thinking they made the arrangements to separate everyone from the wedding. We sit down and are told there's no brunch today even though they told us there would be the night before. We wait 15 min for a menu which the chef was still printing out after the place opened.... read more
