I have been a regular of the many Lessings restaurant, but never went to Mirabelle for a sit down dinner, only a bar visit. The service was horrendous & stayed that way the entire time. It took 15 minutes to be acknowledged at our table. She never took a drink order for 2 people [of 4]. Later in the meal, we would order drinks & then have to repeatably asked where they were. We would see her at other tables or socializing with the other staff, but we were always forgotten about. She knew it too. I have heard similar stories ... read more
The service was incredibly poor. The reservation was for 5 pm, and there was only one other group besides mine. It literally took 35 minutes to even get a server to take our order - and staff was so uncoordinated 3 different servers came over to take our drink order. And the entire place is so small! It was outrageous! Absolutely awful experience - and the food was just okay. The sommelier ( who was very young and inexperienced) was rude and spent 20 minutes talking to a group of loud friends that were about 21. The prix fix... read more
good for beer. food was very disappointing. Had to send mussels back as they did not smell or taste good. The omelet I got instead was pedestrian at best.
Come here often. The complaints I have are consistently the service & noise. Food great,. When there is a large crowd at the bar, the noise in is deafening in the dining room. Sometimes it can make the entire dinner miserable, as you have to shout to be heard at your own table. I don't know if it's the acoustics of the old Three Village Inn, but this is the worst restaurant for noise I have been to. On a quiet night the noise level is fine. Also, the service has always just been ok as long as I've been coming here. Last nigh... read more
We were looking forward to dining at the View. For the Boat chistmas parade, but thanks to Hurricane Sandy that was blown away. I waited all year for that. Instead we went to Mirabelle Tavern. Not great sorry to say. Way overpriced. Clam Chowder ='s Butter, cream and one clam. Raviolis bland no flavor. Scallops OK. Tavern Burger was good. Hummus and Tapanada was good. Drinks way over priced. We will not be visiting in the future. So sad this use to be a great place years gone by.
I had told you in my email reservation that it was my mothers 81st birthday and you did nothing. Not a happy Birthday song, not a small cake - nothing. You FLUNKED!
The wait staff incessantly interrupted our conversation (at least ten times) to inquire if everything was alright or if we were finished with a plate. Obviously the staff was instructed to do so. The wait staff needs to be instructed that it is annoying to diners to be rudely interrupted.
Portions were skimpy and the price was too expensive on most things. Burgers seemed to be one of the only entrees that was a reasonable price and a good portion. The veggie burger was not a veggie burger -- it was grilled vegetables on a roll. Fish was a very small portion. This restaurant seems to have an identity crisis -- is it a tavern or a french restaurant? As it is now, it doesn't quite make it as either one.
Food was decent but nothing special. Waitress made us feel rushed. The tables are right near the bar area and it was very noisy.
