Usually not the case but horrible experience-you have young kids as servers, who don't know how to manage their time. Place your order and the server would stop and clear off 2 tables, stop and chat then ring up two checks before even putting your order in. Everything we asked for, (in most cases 2, 3 times) never came. We were getting up and getting our own drinks at the bar, napkins, etc. The food came out burnt and NOT how we ordered it. We waited 2 hours to watch the band, and they never started - so we left. It was 10:3... read more

I KNOW it's French food, but can we at least PRETEND that we are dealing with American-size appetites? There was barely any meat to be found on my chicken-leg entree...

Food was not what I would expect from Mirabelles. Most of the food was not flavorful and food kept on running out at the buffet tables and taking a long time before food was refilled again.Especially the Egg Benedict. It was way too crowded and not quaint as Three Village Inn usually is. It was as if the restaurant did not care & just wanted to fit a million more people in other than care about the romatic quaintence of the Restaurant as it always was in the past. The staff seemed baffled. We did have a nice server but you co... read more

Disappointed in quality of food this time and small portions. Did not enjoy set menu for Valentines Day which was not indicated through Open Table Dining reservation. Service was slow and unattentive. Our guests were very unimpressed. Have had much better meals and service at Tavern.

This was my third year coming for Christmas Eve. Me, my husband, and brother were placed in the back of the restaurant again. We sat at the 6:30 seating and it wasn't event crowded so I can see where the problem lays. Also, it was pricey $360 dollars for 3 people. I would not come back here for the holidays ever again.

Our reservation was the evening of long island's worst snowstorm. Needless to say the Tavern was almost empty. Due to the lack of patrons, I would have thought the service would have been amazing. I was so wrong. It took a long time to receive our cocktails. The drinks were excellent. After ordering our appetizers and entrees the wait time was ridiculous. One of our friends is a vegetarian, there was no vegetarian choice on the menu. The waiter said the chef would be happy to make up a plate. However when it arrived it was l... read more

Although we have eaten at Mirabelle many times, our visit during Restaurant Week in their new facility at the Three Village Inn was a disappointment. The "lamb shank" from the special menu was not a "shank" at all but a few thin pieces of lamb in a bowl of noodles that was not worth $25 even with an appetizer and a dessert. Our other dish was shrimp, mussels and scallops for an additional $5. The seafood was cooked properly but the sauce, a specialty of Mirabelle, was quite ordinary. The staff in the Tavern seemed rushed, di... read more

Inattentive waitstaff made for a frustrating evening. How does one walk past a table 4 times with cleared plates, make eye contact with said plates, and still not take them from the table? How do you drop off coffee with no spoon? Why would one give a roll of the eyes from ordering french-press coffee at a french restaurant? Because it's restuarant week I can't have french-press? Does it take too much time?(it was a great cup of coffee)The shrimp fricassee was bland. Perfectly cooked scallops with slightly overcooked shrimp,... read more
