We were given a complimentary cocktail for our anniversary! We were seated next to the fireplace and had great service. The food was very and prompt!
Usually excellent, however, we dined during the “wedding showcase” event and the noise and traffic ruined our quiet and elegant evening. We absolutely needed to be told that there was a significant event that night when we made our reservation....we could have easily chosen another time to dine. The trout was disappointing, as were the potato accompaniment as well. This is the first time we were LESS than pleased!
Returned to Mirabelle Tavern after a hiatus. Had a bad experience last time - probably because of the craziness of the weekend - which I will now avoid. Pleasant time - seat next to the fire, what could be a finer place for nice hot bowl of soup and a hot toddy?
The dining area with bar was too noisy. We had hoped to be in the Main dining room where it appears to be more formal. Service was excellent! Food was average.
Waiter kept trying to take my plate every few minutes. He did not seem to understand that I was a slow eater. He started asking after the second bite of my burger.
Never disappoints. Food and service were excellent. We went there for Long Island Restaurant week. Great menu selection. Attentive service.
