Have been here many times and always find good food however service was not up to snuff. Slow and had to ask several times for the same thing. Perhaps it was holiday time and too busy The noise level was tremendous and seating was not perfect for sure

The Tavern was not noisy for my taste and did not do justice to the food.

A holiday tradition that never is a disappointment ! Wonder price fix menu as well as small and large plates. This time of year the tavern is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful troup of carol era on the weekends. It is well worth a trip !!!

The Tavern has a great close knit feel with giant fireplace at one end and bar at the other. House Pinot Noir was not the right bottle to choose but there are many others on the menu. The appetizers we had of a parsnip soup and crab cakes were excellent. Well flavored, lump crab no fillers and nicely presented. The main courses were a different story. The seared monk fish wasn't seared but appeared baked, was dry and unseasoned even though it was placed atop a chorizo tomato puree that had flavor, there was no flavor or seas... read more

We are locals who are enjoying getting reacquainted with a local landmark. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially in the end, which is cozy and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the service was courteous and friendly, but could be a little bit more attentive to some of the basic needs of the table such as bread service, and liquid refreshment. Otherwise,An excellent experience and we will be coming back for more.

I have been coming to MIRABELLE since the where new in St.James, the food is good, the only thing I miss is the MIRABELLE cocktail, it is not what it used to be, I miss the Mirabelle fruit in the cocktail I and my family have had it. It is not same without it. ;-( Charles Kohn

The service was much better then our previous visit. However, they no longer take the Lessing’s rewards card. Other establishments still do. I do not understand why. Very disappointing as we also go to brunch with Santa every year. I have had my card for years and come often. Sad!
