Expected more... The food was ok and the service was lacking. We waited a long time before anyone came to the table to ask about drinks or bring bread. We had to put clam shells on the bread plate. It was a pre-fixed menu and there were three choices for dessert. We were there early and ready for dessert at 7:00. We wanted the tiramisu and there was none left. We aren't sure if they even had it at all. We might give it another try but wouldn't rush back.
Always enjoy the Tavern. Friendly, comfortable setting with great food and service.
I enjoy Mirabelle Tavern every now and then. I often find it inconsistent with the food and service. I have to say that this past Friday for restaurant week, it was Fabulous !!!!! The service, the food, the value were spot on! Had the pumpkin soup, spinach fettuccine and apple crisp for dessert, OMG delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
Consistently excellent food and service. Neighborhood icon.

We were lucky enough to have dined there during the Long Island Restaurant week, which means that the Prix-fixe menu was full of options for discerning palates. There were choices of 5-6 appetizers and 5-6 entrees, and even more options for dessert (one of each is included in the $28.95 cost). Hubby and I both selected the Brioche-crusted scallop and shrimp soufflé appetizer, served with a tomato and caper remoulade. It was crisp on the outside, and creamy y... read more
