We were seated in the bar area. It was Wednesday night, understandable. My father is in a wheel chair and the table worked out great. However, 20 minutes into our dinner experience the band started up and I found the noise level much too much. Yes, I was dining with two people well into thier eighties but they did not complain at all, it's my perception and feedback. Went for dinner before seeing a show at stony brooks staller center. Great food and atmosphere. Close proximity to university and staller center. Nice to walk around waterfront and shops nearby. Would definitely go back!
We continue to prefer the quiet times of weekday dinners at the Tavern over the bustle on the weekend, The music was great and our waiter Jack was excellent. And the food was exceptional as usual - experimented with the venison which I thought was wonderfully prepared.
It’s Always a pleasure to be in Stony Brook having a beautiful Dining experience at Mirabelle.

Good overall experience; table waiter good but rest of wait staff had no personality and certainly not friendly.
