Came for breakfast, left emotionally attached to the French toast. Ordered the French toast and it was delish .…fluffy, beautiful and served with a scoop of ice cream that really sealed the de-meal. My son ordered the Big Breakfast and enjoyed it but the French toast was without question the highlight. We were the first ones in, the staff were lovely and the food came out faster than my willpower around carbs. Service was smooth and food even better. I’d absolutely be back.
Great location and cozy setup. The food were really good too. Service was A+. Missing 1 star due to Pork belly's skin that still very chewy although the fat rendered beautifully and the meat were soft and tender. Also fried ice cream came to our table with half of the ice cream melted already. The batter/coating was super too thick, you only need 1/3rd of that for proper fried ice cream.
I had the oats and chia bowl and the tiramisu iced latte, it was so good!! The presentation is beautiful and staff are also super friendly. I would heavily recommend coming to Modita, the food is always amazing each time I come.
our first time here but not to a mavis & co establishment. love the vibe/atmosphere to begin with. ordered matcha latte and its by far the best one yet; strong matcha taste & thats how it’s supposed to be. for food we went with the gourmet fried chicken benedict and the creme brulee french toast. it was absolutely lovely! a picture paints a thousand words so you be the judge of it.
We heard that there’s a new cafe and our family decided to have our brunch here. Since this place is new, I/We hope that the owner will find this review well as it is coming from a good place. Food-wise, we gave it 2 stars because: 1) Our son’s chicken kiddie meal was like having chicken chipees, though the shoestring fries were okay. ✌🏼 2) The Lox Bagel is traditionally served with cream cheese, but what was served to us has no cream cheese at all with no heads-up if they ran out of stock or used anything as an alternativ... read more
