Monigie did not do much for us. 2 days after we signed the contract we called her to tell her we had found a buyer. We handed her all of the information and we were told that since we brought the buyer in and they would not have to list the house she would close the deal for 3% instead of the usual 6%. When we received the closing estimate it showed the 6. We called her on it and she stated that since our buyer used a realtor she bad to charge 6. Like that is a law or something. I just wanted to warn other about this real estate agent so they do not have to go through what we did with her. First off, she lied about many aspects of the sale of our home just to ensure a quick sale for her own profit. Second, after the sale she was less than responsive to our follow up questions. It became evident that we were just a sale for her and not a client. Look elsewhere if you want a real estate agent who will have your back.
I used Monique to sell a property of mine in Phoenix. It was a rental of mine so when I first interviewed her over the phone I asked her how many days do I have to give notice to a tenant in AZ since I live in CA & of course laws are different in each state. She didn't know. I didn't choose her right away. Monique did follow up a few weeks later and I did list with her. I told her I wanted a virtual tour with my listing pictures which she never did. I contacted Monique, she was very quick to respond I sent her the details of my property and she seemed to have interested clients immediately. The next day she contacted me and asked what I thought it should list for, I told her she disagreed without every seeing the property and she never returned my call. I sold the home on Zillow by owner in 16 days for list price.
