Much approvement is needed. Nursing staff was great and always friendly and professional. Staff of caregivers always short-handed and most of them didn't seem to take their job seriously and not caring for their residents as they should. Sometimes trash stayed full and towels on the floor for several days. Food and drink choices at times was not that good. Something was always left off of the food tray when served. My mom was at Montevista and it is such a wonderful place. Therapy is the best around. It is very beautiful and the staff makes you feel tight at home. She stayed in a luxury private room with a huge private bathroom. Very, very nice place!!! Very, very nice and caring people!!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this places is!! Hard working staff that goes out of there way to help you. Therapy is the best in Lawton. You will also get a beautiful private room with large private bathroom. I will always be grateful for everything they did for me!!!

The facility is very clean and peaceful. They have a homelike atmosphere where the staff members make you feel like family. Mom stayed here for hip replacement. They took really great care of her. The staff was patient and compassionate. Would seriously consider if any of my family members need rehabilitation in the future for this to be the place they do it at.

Montevista is a horrible facility. The residents lay there and their needs are not addressed in a timely manner. My brother was not sent to the hospital and the nurse [name removed] yelled at him in front of me telling him that nothing was wrong with him. When he got to the hospital CCMH he had a fluid overload of 20-pounds and pneumonia. His bed sore is huge and he had to go surgery because it was so bad. He is now in OKC in critical condition and dying because of his care at Montevista. They should be monitored more closel... read more

Management is not on top of what's going on out there. The kitchen staff thinks they own the place and they can turn out a mil any damn time they want to from 9 in the morning all the way up to 8 at night not right for the patients out there the only one that was really doing any work where the poor little CNA girls that word just busting their butts taking care of the people treating them decent and getting done what needed to be done if I would I walked into that place for an inspection from the health department I would h... read more

i cant really say a rating for monte vista was the only nusing that i was in.most of the staff were excellent i want to say thanks to [names removed] for whom i really enjoyed being around and residents [names removed] who made my being there more pleasentand my dearly departed friend [name removed] who really helped me through a difficult time god bless her soul i pray that every resident gets to come to there homes whitch i know thats not possible but do pray they understand that seeing family during this pandimic is not t... read more

Horrible care at the night time hours. Tells their patients their back hurts just go ahead and [removed] on yourself.
