This is one of the best behavioral hospitals for children and adolescents in the city of Chicago. The attention to personalized care for patients is unmatched. The staff there ensure patients are cared for mentally, emotionally and physically. There is no other hospital I would take my child to in time of crisis.

I genuinely feel bad for the staff For context: I am a trans woman---most staff were very respectful of this and would not treat me differently as would they any other (aside from one white nurse). Unfortunately, I was sent to the fifth floor for adolescent boys, which I respect for the safety of others; although, the patients I was allocated with were quite violent.
