Mrs. Amanda is absolutely wonderful! The facility where my unit is located was sold and Mrs. Amanda became our manager. She had to negotiate a difficult ownership transfer while dealing with multiple people and did all that with humor, grace, kindness, and professionalism. She is an incredible asset to the company and community.
Moove In Self Storage that operates the Rome, NY locations is awful. One would think that after acquiring facilities in Rome that they would be responsive. The fact is they are not. Amanda out of PA that has charge over Rome is very unprofessional and critically unresponsive. We moved out of our unit and have called, emailed (2x) and still have not been able to get a move out receipt. Mrs Amanda freeman was excellent. She was very helpful in answering every question i had for her. She didn't make me feel like I wasn't important no matter what i asked or needed she smiled and was very polite.
In this company taking over…which no one from the company informed me…the rate has increased to almost double what I was paying…talk about price gouging…10 years I was with the previous company before this company took over…I had no problems…now it’s been nothing but…watch out they’ll get you next…time to find another place…one that isn’t a corp. but owned by a local family…guess being in the military gives them the right to do this….oh and this all happened in one month…MY OPINION…DINT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS
