Two stars for how quickly I was seen. The rest wasn't anything to write home about. All that was done was a brief exam and blood work when there should've been some scans as well. I also came in with severe nausea and was given nothing to have for home. I ended back in the ER (different place *Ohio health*) and they are currently treating me thoroughly. It's a shame I really wanted to give this new hospital a good review.
I had an amazing experience at this ER, and it all started at the front door. The lady at the front desk was absolutely incredible—so kind, welcoming, and reassuring when I was feeling stressed. She sets the tone for the whole place! The rest of the staff, the nurses, and the doctor were also great and provided the best service. But a huge, special thank you to the front desk lady for her exceptional kindness!
Emergency was awesome. But after admission to the hospital I wish there was doctors visit and talk to patients instead of just adding test in their computer without explaining why and what. Just very expensive tests. Some are good nurses some are not. Getting released was bad experience. Doctors did their parts but nurses just won’t follow through. Access on my chart is very hard. Went in on Tuesday evening for a kidney stone that I had been trying to pass for 15 hours and received a CT scan and medicine within an hour of being there. Once they discovered how large the stone was, I was scheduled the next morning for a stint placement. I had a moment of excruciating pain the evening after my stint placement due to the stone moving and within minutes I was given pain medicine and an x-ray technician was in my room to check on the progress of the stone and to ensure my stint hadnt moved. 10/10 best hospital I have ever been to. The staff are so nice and everyone listens and actually cares. I had an awful experience at a cvs minute clinic an hour prior (where I tried to go first) with my tonsils swollen to the point that I had issues breathing and swallowing where they told me to just take ibuprofen and tough it out. But I then decided to come to this hospital because I knew somethings wasn’t right. I’ve had tonsillitis so many times and I had always been taken seriously and medicated.
