Ughhhh! This hospital needs some serious help. I went here in pain real bad. These folks left me in the waiting area for over an hour. My BP was high they didn't care. The staff just sat around laughing and having the time of their life meanwhile these people couldn't tell me how much longer for me to be seen. This hospital is disgusting they could care less to see you as a patient. It amazes me how their facility Diley Ridge runs NOTHING like this. I’ve been to the ER two times (once for myself and once for my husband) between June and October of 2025. Yes, there can be long waits (like all ER’s) but I found the nurses and doctors were great. When I went in June, I had extreme pain in my neck and upper back. A kind nurse let me in the back so I could recline while waiting to see a doctor. I was at Mount Carmel a year ago but it is bothering me. I was having chest pains. I waited hours. I was hungry the nurse gave me broth. At the bottom of the cup was her eyelash. I felt sick and disgusted. If you do not want people of color in your emergency room say so. I try to avoid mount Carmel east as much as possible.
i was admitted 2 mount carmel east on saturday decermber 27th 2025 i was checked in by a wonderful nurse who was exceptionally kind nice 2 me checking me in then the other techs & dr's & virtual nurses were great i was treated as a person i was discharged monday december 29th 2025 i want 2 thank all those who antedated me while i was there & want 2 thank them all & wish them a very happy safe new year thank you all, james
I took my wife to the ER at Mount Carmel east on labor day. We got there about 2:30 pm. When we arrived the lobby was completely empty. They took my wife to back and inserted a tube in her arm, and told her to have a seet in the lobby. Two and a half hours later, the lobby had filled up, and other people were being taken back.
