Mount Carmel was amazing to deal with this past weekend during my medical emergency. I started out at the Franklinton ED and they diagnosed me quickly and properly and got me an in-patient bed at Grove City immediately where I had surgery promptly the next morning. Even on a Saturday, everything ran smoothly and I was in and out after a major surgical procedure in less than 24 hours. I'm going to start this with saying I'm not a mt. Carmel fan as several people I know have passed away or had a botched surgery. BUT, I was in the ER 2x this weekend for blood clots and the nurses in there were GREAT. Very well informed , on the ball and extremely nice. Also, the pa on Friday was extremely nice. I wish I could remember their names but I don't and I am sorry for that. Also, I was admitted Saturday night for a double pe(look up). Went in Monday, 4-13, for a simple outpatient procedure and was very happy the entire way. The staff was friendly and caring, as well as very helpful, from the ladies at reception in the lobby all the way to the woman who pushed my wheelchair out of the building at discharge. Dr. Lindsey and the nurses were especially great as well as the anesthesiologist (I know I butchered the spelling of that, sorry). My daughter was admitted to Mount Carmel Grove city Ohio Thursday, February 12 through The 19th. I cannot remember all the nurses and doctors names, but what I do remember is how wonderful and attentive everybody was we were on 7th Floor room 7008. Well educated and on top of their game . This place was amazing. From the check-in staff to the nurses and doctors, everyone was super nice. The only issue I had was they wouldn't let me come back to see my wife after surgery was complete......had to wait almost 2 hrs post surgery to see her when they wheeled her out to the car. Also, just like all hospitals, the food prices are outrageous
