My wife was was being attended to within 15 minutes. Staff was welcoming. I will say that my wife bragged about the place and I feel that she will return to the Emergency room without a battle. He comment was best hospital in Columbus. Since I am a Regional Medical facility director I can easily recognize a smooth running place.
Wife fell in driveway and gashed her nose with substantial bleeding. Could have had a concussion. Waited 3 hours in general public waiting area with bloody rag on face.before seeing Physicians Asst. Last time she had a fall the wait was about 6 hours. Never saw an actual MD. Care by PA was good once seen.
I was having an allergic reaction to medication. They had me wait for 3 hours with chest pain, fever and severe headache. They wrote it down as cold and flu symptoms and treated it as such, tested me for flu and covid in the waiting room and they remained unconcerned. Despite telling them I had been in a wreck the previous monday, and was started on meloxicam just 2 days prior, they still wrote it off as cold and flu. I went to this emergency room because my leg is in so much pain that I can barely walk or move it and it is a bit swollen. I checked in online with a wait time given 1 to 2 and a half hours wait. I waited for 4 just for them to tell me Ultrasound was not 24 hours and that they could schedule me an appointment at 9 with Ultrasound. We arrived at 732 pm tonight with my stepfather who has been dealing with multiple blood clots in his lungs but started having significant chest pain tonight. They did an EKG and decided that he was not a priority. As of now we have been in the waiting room for 4 hours while watching 7 individuals who came in after him be taken back...many of whom appear to have no more than colds.
