Rehab is great. Communication between case manager, supervisor to family is absolutely ridiculous. No one calls back and they lie about what is best for the patient. Said they sent paperwork to insurance company for a transfer and they never did. Continuously said patient needed more care at a facility as home was not prepared. Told about discharge a week before the discharge date
The staff at check-in was very nice, and the nurse that took my vitals was very nice. I was not impressed with the doctor. He seemed dismissive of what I was trying to tell him, and it was as if he had made up his mind what the solution was before he ever examined me. After he had concluded our conversation, I asked him to watch me as I was walking because that’s what would give him a lot of information and when I turned around, he was engrossed in his computer. All the therapists are very knowledgeable, kind and patient. If you're having a bad day physically, you're program will be adjusted. They push you to do your best at all times but not such you might hurt yourself I really look forward to being in a socially active environment.
The Doctor and the staff are great but 2 of the last 3 appointments were changed at the last minute . As I don't drive this is a great imposition and my wife had to take time from work for the appointment. When appointments are made 3 months in advance there should be more than a 3 day notice you can't keep them.
Staff of nurses and cnas bullied me my entire stay.. insinuated I was sicker than I was and I left feeling/being sicker than I was entering. Psychiatrists take 2 minutes with you and constantly push for you to stay longer.. horrible horrible evil place
