Mt lodge Bed hard and uncomfortable. Pillows flat and not enough of them. Heart shaped jacuzzi tub very tacky bathroom constantly smelled The view

Okay For $145 a night, I really expecting a lot more. You would think the beds would actually be comfortable.

Poor customer service with no internet, place was clean and pool was nice. We had no internet, when we called about it the first night, we were just told to unplug and plug it back in. That did not work. There was no cell service so we had no way of communicating or looking up things to do in the area. The next day, we called again (twice) and they sent someone out. We strive for excellent customer service. We have a unique property in the middle of a state forest. We provide detailed maps of the area, places to eat, local attractions etc. Our property map is also detailed and correct. We tried resolving your many issues and apologize for any inconvenience.
Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to any one. Arrived at 6:00 P.M. cdt, 7 Eastern time to find that the office was closed for the day and that they had left our check-in materials outside the building in an unsecured box, which was a huge safety issue for four female travelers. The pool was advertised as being open until 8, but it was locked and no pool key was in our envelope so we could not use that amenity. You were issued a total refund. Your room was in our lodge, nestled in the state forest with views of the mountain range. Our pool closes at 8p.m. and we lock it for the evening at 8:30p.m. Calling our front desk and requesting a room with a view to your vehicle is recommended as most people like to see the forest rather than their cars. We appreciate our wonderful guests who visit us year after year to enjoy the cozy setting and small town feel.
Poor cabin very dirty

not happy. no table to dine at, had to sit on floor. beds hard, tv difficult to work. spiders got in our open bags. no lights outside arond grille or firepit. could not check in til 4pm, but had to leave at 10am. no phone, not alarm clock(how are we supposed to know when to get up??) cabin look

All of our rooms have desks with chairs, mini-fridges and a microwave. If you were looking for a cabin with a dining room, perhaps next time we can recommend one - if you call our front desk, we are happy to help you find what you are looking for. Yes, our check-in time is 4p.m. and check-out is at 10a.m. - this is posted clearly on the web and when you get your confirmation letter upon reserving your stay, as well as upon check-in.
Okay The resort charged me twice the amount booking.com quoted. I am disputing it with my credit card company. It was a very nice stay but they overcharged me.

Disappointing Workers running chain saws, tractors and burning piles of brush that filled are room with smoke the entire weekend. Our room was dirty with left over food on the floor. The view was spectacular and in a great location.

We have a property on a mountain top which requires constant vigilance for our guest experience. We do not run chainsaws or tractors on the weekends. The brush pile you mention was put out on Saturday. If your room was not up to our usual perfect cleanliness standards, we would have loved a call and we would have rectified the issue immediately.
