Cancelled first consultation for private assessment, was told I have to physically go in now in order to process refund for some unnecessary added convenience, it's 2025 that's just a deliberate layer of annoyance designed to try and keep peoples money, what a dreadful first impression.
Great experience from start to finish. It makes visiting the dentist a pleasant experience.
Shocking experience. The receptionist just wanted to push towards private treatment. Was told could not go to dental access as registered with them - not true. The dentist was rude and didn’t even treat the toothache but prescribed antibiotics that probably weren’t needed. Lectured my autistic daughter about brushing her teeth until she was nearly in tears. Then told would need to book a private appointment if wanted problem treated. I do wonder if they only want private work?
Shambolic at best. I turned up at 3pm to be told my appointment at 3.10 had been cancelled for a broken chair, I understand things happen but nothing was facilitated to accommodate me in another chair or their sister practise at commercial road. Just that I would have to wait a month for a cracked tooth to be seen to. I did try and get an appointment at their commercial road branch the same day to be met with nothing but hostility from the receptionist. Just had a replacement filling done with Mr Ali, very pleased with the result ( private option) was expensive as no NHS timeslots available, but the result looks like a normal tooth and no visible filling! amazing, very calming and explained exactly what the process involved.
