Been with this dental practice 35 years and can't for the life of me get an appointment. I went to them 4 weeks ago with a toothache and the dentist told me it looks like I need a root canal but give me a filling and said if it keeps up to come in again and get the root canal done. Why on earth would they not just do the root canal, £160 wasted on a filling when I need a root canal now I will have to pay again for another treatment! My son had an appointment for 1pm today to get a clear correct assessment. He travelled from England last night for this appt. I had been contacted several times this week to see if he was still attending to which I replied yes. They contacted him at 9am this morning to say they no longer offer this service despite taking the £30 deposit from me. Disgusted and extremely disappointed in this customer service. Apparently the dentist came down this morning looked in the appointment book and said I no longer offer this service.
Absolutely fuming with The collon dental practice! Rang for an emergency dental appointment to be told I'm no longer on their books as I have not been since 2013... despite the fact that THEY cancelled my last 2 appointments with them one in November 2023 and the second one February 2024 5 mins before the appointment time. The way I was spoken to by the receptionist today was disgusting and I would definitely not recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a dental practice.
I had to get a cancellation app with my dentist at the collon and again it was a pleasure to deal with the staff over the phone as well as when I arrived at the counter greeted with a smile very good customer service. I Then made my way up to Heather who is my Dentist and can I just say this girl is amazing she makes you feel so at ease and is fantasic at what she does. Very well run practise and happy to be a patient here.
Trying to get an appointment for the past 8 months and getting strung along every time I contact, with no follow up, despite it being promised every time. Latest example of terrible customer service was to ask if they can confirm I'm on a waiting list to be told "no, I'm too busy to look through that to confirm". Absolute shambles of a way to run a business.
