I’ve been attending this practice for many years and have always had brilliant service. Reception staff are really helpful, friendly and understanding. Recently I’ve had some ongoing dental problems which have involved several appointments, treatments, adjustments etc. It’s been an extremely difficult time for me but the Practice Manager has been more than helpful doing all he can to help get my problems rectified. In all honesty, I've had mixed experiences with the My Dentist Dentists yet the reception team has consistently been lovely despite challenges. On two recent visits, I've had a brilliant, professional, considerate, approachable, friendly locum NHS dentist. Years ago I had a difficult filling experience with another My Dentist Dentist. Unfortunately my appointment was cancelled without explanation. Having looked at the reviews it appears to be common theme. Very unprofessional. Update 31/03/19: I booked another appointment and after waiting two months they cancelled on me again. I’ve been strung along for 6 months waiting for an appointment. I can’t believe how unprofessional this place is. Update 09/11/2019: I booked another appointment and after almost a year it was cancelled again! Shocking service, waste of time and no care for patients. I have had all my appointments with Premika cancelled over 5 months, I find it hard to believe she has called in sick each time, have also been told it was due to annual leave - why then allow appointments to be booked when the dentist is on holiday. It seems obvious the dentist no longer wanted NHS patients and has cancelled already made appointments causing stress and inconvenience in order to make more money privately. Was a good practice a few years back. But as staff have moved on, and the general shortage of NHS dentists currently, I had my recent appointments moved by the practice, and ultimately cancelled, only to be told like other patients that they cannot currently offer NHS services and do not know when that will be resolved.
