Nan has been working with me on my meds and the weight I have gained on them even if it means switching meds, and with a med switch she is already very thoughtful of the process before we reach it. She has also sussed out that I have PTSD and has encouraged me to talk to my Therapist about it. Over all I have been impressed with Nan.

Very disheartening experience. I was surprised, especially after reading the reviews, that I left there feeling so unsafe and unseen...but in the 40 or so minutes I was there, Nan MacLean spent much of her time with her face in the computer screen, talking about comprehensive testing and getting out her referral Post Its. For medication management and strong knowledge of new and innovative therapies, this might be a better fit. For someone struggling or in crisis, not so much.

Nan MacLean is a highly knowledgeable and intelligent psychiatrist. I have a chronic illness and have struggled with psychiatrist care in the past because of that— she always takes my concerns into consideration and works with me instead of over me. She goes above and beyond with her care through her strong critical thinking skills. She is just generally a very kind and sensitive individual, a person easy to trust with your health.

It's always great to see Dr. Nan from Life Stance she always listens to what you have to say then discusses with you what should be the best course of action to attack the issue with... Thanks Dr. Nan. SEMPER FI !!!

I'm here to stay. Very knowledgeable. Very deep. Honest. Transparent. She is relatable; I learned a lot about her and mostly about myself. I always look forward to our next session.
