I have not been happy with trying to setup my appointments via the phone. No one answers the phone at the Summerville office whenever I call. It is very frustrating. So far I am not satisfied at all with this part of Lifestance. I hope this gets rectified very soon. Now my counselor Nancy is amazing. She listens attentively and she helps me to set easily attainable goals. I am very grateful that I found her.
As a Mental ‘Client’ the fee for missing an appointment is Exorbitant. I understand that the other party needs to recover Costs but I become reluctant to make appointments because I suffer from lack of scheduling.. I am a FIXED INCOME so I struggle with the fees associated with.
I have been using LifeStance for over a year and love it!! Scheduling is easy and i love the option to do in person or virtual. All my providers have been very crucial to bettering my life and mental health. Highly recommend for adults, children and couples. I’ve used all 3 services.
Edit: didn't know this was a direct review about my therapist, Mrs. Winston. I love her services though, she's great at listening, making you feel safe, and providing good and helpful advice. She gave me a book to work with that's been pretty helpful so far. She also doesn't rush you out of the office or treat your time as invaluable. I've had nothing but a pleasant experience with her. I really loved and appreciated my experience with Mrs.Nancy. I feel very comfortable with her. This was my 1st therapy session . It was over the phone but felt like we were in person. We touched on some very important topics that left me thinking all day, and that I really loved because it's helping me connect the dots already.
