I had an appointment set for May 29th for my right knee. I prepared by buying a riser for the toilet seat, a shower chair, sheets to put on my downstairs couch, new blanket and duvet cover. All expecting surgery. On May 20th I was to have the pre- op imaging done. All of the required testing had been done and sent to Dr. Eberly 3-4 weeks prior. Fantastic. Jan 10 2025 TKR surgery. Walked 30 minutes after surgery. Went home 1 hour after surgery. Went back to work within one week. Life changing. Loved the whole nano team . Love Dr. EBERLY. At 66 years old i just got my whole life back. Walking, Mtn biking, surfing. Life changing.
Recovery time is a fraction of what it is with conventional knee surgery. I know because I had my first knee done with conventional surgery and the second with Nano. I am very happy with the results for both knees but recovery time for #2 knee was a breeze compared to the first surgery. Downside is traveling to Arroyo Grande on the central coast, but it is worth the sacrifice. The other downside is paying for the model of your knee.
