Check the manufacture date Cartridge is dated 12/19/13 & I purchased it on 2/3/15. How do I know if Cartridge has not been used or lost capability do to shelf life? The last one did NOT preform as expected. I guess I'm a slow learner.

saves on tabs Don't know how it does it but I save on chlorine tabs when I use this thing. Because we have a short season I get two summers out of one cartridge.
Doesn't seem to work like the original Nature2 cartridge. I took a while to rate it because it demands some time before it can be rated. It doesn't seem to work like the originals, which I have been using for about 10 years. I have had to add bottled algaecide to keep the pool free of algae, which I never had to do since I had the Nature 2 system.. Perhaps they are skimping on the materials used in the cartridge.. I don't believe i will buy this again. I'll just run the filter with no cartridge in the unit and add algaecide ... read more
Nature2 35G Have used these filters for the past 10 years and find that I can lower the chlorine in the pool significantly.
As Described The package arrived as expected and on time. My cartridge last year had an inner wrapping that the one this year didn't have. Don't know if manufacturer changed it or not, but raised my suspicion. I have no idea if something is wrong, but installed it and hoping it works.
Breaks up and releases blue and white pellets into the pool My purchase of this product through Amazon was fine--Amazon offered the lowest price available. My comments are about the product itself. This is at least the second or third time that I've had one of these cartridges "blow up" and release all of their blue and white pellets into my pool and pool equipment.
