Not worth the money or the mess. I've tried these on and off for over 15 years in my pool. At first, it didn't really save much on Chlorine in 100 degree heat is too difficult to balance in a pool of any size. I bought one this summer because I really wanted good chemistry even at this price. I won't buy another and here's why. Every time my pool starts up, some of the pellets from the cartridge get blown into the pool. I thought it would just be the first day or two, but it's never stopped. They leak. Why do they leak? They didn't used to leak. Now they leak out the beads weeks after installation. Not just this one but at least the last 3 I've used. Poor quality or a way to sell more? Either way I can buy a lot of chlorine and algaecide for the price of this thing. Add to that the fact that the plumbed in holder also leaks and you have a real looser. bad quality product Cartridge emptied within a day, filling pool with blue pellets and black powder. Original cartridges worked fine in the same installation, so I assume this one is a substandard product. Avoid.
saves on tabs Don't know how it does it but I save on chlorine tabs when I use this thing. Because we have a short season I get two summers out of one cartridge.
Be careful of the model This dis not fit our Nature2 sanitizer. There has been a model change and we had to return the product.
Saving Money I got tired of paying my pool company twice the cost for such a simple installation. Decided to go online at Amazon and try to do it myself. Turns out the product works great and it only took me a few minutes to install it. Now the good news, it cost me half as much and no labor charges either.
