I'm originally from CT, but currently reside in Florida. Went on vacation, and had to assist someone for a surgical procedure and I have to say that compared to many surgery centers that I have experienced, this one was top notch. Just walking in I felt the calm atmosphere and my surroundings were quiet. Felt like I was in the hospital, but with very few people in the waiting room or lobby. My experience with Naugatuck Valley Surgical Center was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I was scheduled for eye surgery this morning, arrived on time, and was blindsided by being told my surgery was cancelled. The reason they gave was that I hadn’t taken my medications correctly. This is not true. Weeks before my surgery, I went through the required pre-operative physical.
