Nurse Caroline and Provider Wang are not for the people they will try to force you to have a c section by trying to make you think your baby is way bigger than it is. Outside of that all my other nurses were AMAZING, Very Supportive, Very Informative and Extremely Caring. I had a great experience at Saint Francis for the birth of my daughter. The only reason for 4 stars is because my assigned L&D nurse was not a good fit for me. She didn’t give us space and was in the room constantly (I was there for a scheduled c section). She narrated everything she was doing and wouldn’t allow us to sit in silence which my nervous system desperately needed. She was very scattered and kept forgetting to ask important intake questions. My birthing and postpartum experience here went great - the staff was so patient & kind. The L&D staff did a great job of explaining what they recommended, the why behind it and my other option available. The postpartum nurses were reassuring and so helpful - when I panicked as I was leaving, my nurse did a great job at calming me and providing additional resources. My only “negative” feedback is that the hospital food leaves something to be desired & takes forever to arrive - so I’d recommend packing some snacks/favorite... read more
I had an amazing experience at St. Francis Hospital for both labor and delivery and postpartum care. This was my first pregnancy, and the nurses and staff were incredibly kind, patient, and supportive every step of the way. During labor and delivery, I felt safe, listened to, and truly cared for. Both of my labor and delivery experiences at St Francis were great. The nurses and doctors were warm, attentive and compassionate and they took great care of us and our babies.
