"Business" practice consists of getting put on a list, literally. No scheduling, dates, time-line. 3 - 4 weeks... We can write your name on a piece of paper and you will be "On The List". My experience with being put on the list is a good ol boy solution to everything here. The Good Ol-Boy program is piss poor business model dependent on astonishing variables from how we feel today... I contacted Tidewater and asked them to come and measure and provide me with the cost for running a new gas line to my kitchen stove and tankless hot water heater to a propane tank and setting the tank. When I received the $4700.00 estimate, it came in an email stating it would be “around $4700.00”. I inquired as to the breakdown of the costs and received a return email stating “parts are $700 and the labor is around $4000”. My husband and I have worked with this company for 13 years. In all that time, almost every interaction with them has been superb. Fast service, reasonable rates, courteous people. Working with Tidewater Energy is like working with the companies I grew up with: person-to-person local customer service.

I called to see about getting my new gas stove and gas logs along with my mother in laws right next door hooked up to propane and the guy I spoke with said the only thing they have now are the big 200-300 gallon tanks and I would need 100 gallon tanks so I should probably call Suburban gas. Suburban gas just so happens to be the worst rated gas company around this area with a bad reputation so I wasn’t crazy about that referral to say the least. 2/25/2022 1:15pm, Exit 53 on Hwy 264. You guys have a road raged tractor an tanker trailer driver going about 75-80mph. Out of rage of other motorists going under his speed limit, he gets in front of all traffic and slams on the brakes causing road debris to fly up upon cars cracking my windshield. “This was clearly not his first time doing something like that”. Whomever this driver is this guy is dangerous an need not be delt with immediately, he is not for the safety of other people.
