Came here for Physical Therapy, (did not see the doctors as I already had a prescription). Got an appointment the day before and had minimum wait time. Had a really thorough PT session with PT Cecilia and Aj (even iced my injured knee in the end). They also clean surfaces thoroughly in between patients. Appreciate the big space so you can really do a range of exercises. Thank you

I had an exceptional experience with New York Bone & Joint Specialists! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable right away. The doctors are highly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and treatment options. They listened attentively to my concerns and tailored a plan that made sense for me. I’m writing this review having had my first visit a few moments ago. I was having severe knee pain so i googled orthopedic places near my office. Bhoumi, the manager, greeted me as I walked in and had me fill out some intake forms. She was very welcoming and explained what was likely to happen during the appointment. I saw Dr. Urovish - who was high energy, knowledgeable and friendly. I opted for a shot in my knee and it was the most pain- FREE experience. Pretty bad experience end-to-end, except for the Dr himself. I got billed $500 (!!!) for a knee brace without being warned about it and I actually, supposedly, paid the $50 that I owed. While the amount paid after the insurance was $160, that is WAY over what I would I've paid in a CVS or Amazon for a 10x better brace (I barely used it). I went to this practice after going to many other doctors about hip pain who were not helpful. After one visit I knew I was in good hands! My doctors all took me seriously, were very kind, and held my hand through the surgical process. The front desk staff were also all amazing, knew me by name, and were always warm and welcoming! I will definitely be recommending this practice and ESPECIALLY recommending Dr. Tarwala, who performed my surgery and was extremely kind throughout the entire process.
