I’ve been sitting on this review for about a year now because it’s just so ludicrous. Dr. Martin is a gem, and the front staff really did their best at dealing with an office under construction and working with physical paper files. I don’t believe any doctors offices today should be working with paper materials, but the main issue is how fast paced and inconsiderate the other staff are. Went to their 55th street office for my shoulder joint pain today. Front desk ladies were nice and approachable. Dr. Christopher Martin was marvelous. He was very attentive and professional. X-ray tech was excellent too. Dr. Martin gave me an x-Ray, ultrasound and a cortisol injection. He also ordered oral pain medication and physical therapy sessions. The #1Pain Doctor In New York. On my very first visit three years ago: Dr. Gupta was the consummate professional, very personable with a great bedside manner, empathetic, and very attentive to the needs of his patients. Everything went better than I could have expected. I have never seen Dr. Gupta without a smile on his face. The key word here is passion in everything he does. He will be my physiatrist for the rest of my life. As a surgeon he is an artist. I would very highly recommend Dr Nickhil Gupta!
UPDATE: Not only did they charge me $200 for the Hinged Knee support, but now they are also trying to claim $500 from my insurance for the same item. Shameless! While I appreciate the initial helpfulness and politeness of the staff upon my arrival, my experience at this facility unfortunately took a turn for the worse. Came here for Physical Therapy, (did not see the doctors as I already had a prescription). Got an appointment the day before and had minimum wait time. Had a really thorough PT session with PT Cecilia and Aj (even iced my injured knee in the end). They also clean surfaces thoroughly in between patients. Appreciate the big space so you can really do a range of exercises. Thank you
