Doctor was great; expert in his field and a great bedside manner. HOWEVER… My appointment was at 2pm (after being moved 30mins back). I arrived at 1:45 to complete paperwork. I didn’t get seen until 3:05pm. I had to ask front desk about the wait and when I would be seen. The response was rude and condescending as if I had only been waiting for 10mins. I felt that they didn’t have a schedule and simply called patients up when they liked. Patients were signing in well after my time and being seen before me.
If there was a rating for for negative stars I would pick that. I received the wrong diagnose 2x from Dr Tarwala. He was rude, and incompetent. His misdiagnosis caused further injury. He did not order a X-ray or ct scan despite the fact that I fell and was complaining of pain.tin my pain in my hip and thigh. The place is a sham. I had a good experience and I love the concept of walk-in specialist care. The wait was only 10 minutes. Front desk staff had a helpful, kind vibe. The doc I saw was thoughtful and patient, but quick; he got me in and out within the hour, issues resolved, with a follow up plan I could handle. I especially appreciated the xray tech's bedside manner and gentle touch positioning my broken bone. The fees here are less than comparable options in Manhattan, so if your issue is orthopedic, this is definitely a better option than go... read more
This was a great first experience here except for the PT office, which is why I took off one star. My doctor (DR Martin) and X Ray tech (Tavia)made me feel safe, comfortable, and all of my needs were heard. But the physical therapist, who was a taller woman with blonde hair was completely rude and quite dismissive. It made me feel uncomfortable as she is not someone I would want to see for future sessions in regards to taking care of my injuries. Do not come here. I came here for a herniated disc about a year ago and I am still dealing with it today. The doctor I saw was pushy, and I wound up getting 2 $15,000 surgeries he said I needed. The front desk messed up my insurance and billing, causing massive amounts of headaches I am still trying to sort today. The PT was extremely unprofessional, I could overhear nurses arguing and crying with one another during my sessions.
