RecommendedGreat charter school & the kids enjoy going
RecommendedThe principal is phenomenal, the councilor has been phenomenal, and all the teachers have been phenomenal! My son is autistic and had a lot of problems at our public school. This school has been completely different and 10000x better for him. I also have a 5th grader and kindergarten daughter who go here and they love it! I couldn't recommend this school more, especially if you live in Venus ISD.

RecommendedI believe in this school so much that I decided to join the staff! Our three kids are in good hands academically, morally, and emotionally. The principal is wise and caring, teachers are creative and loving, parents are involved, and it feels like a small, special community within a community.
Definitely not used to teach here and I can assure you it’s not a friendly workplace and full of unfit employees teaching students things not on TEA agenda. Public school is definitely the way to go.
I visited the Mansfield campus with my 10 year old grandson, who is very shy. The principal came to the lobby to meet us. We both introduced ourselves. She asked my grandson a couple of questions and because he did not look her in the eye and talk louder she immediately said this is not going to work for her as he was being rude and disrespectful.. he was already scared. I hesitated to write anything here since I’m in dealings with the district currently. Also because of the great amount of respect I have for Becky Anthony and a few other educators there. I will forever be grateful for having met them. After months my husband and I decided to withdrawal my children out of Newman for various reasons. The last incident that we were made aware of the last day they attended was that a teacher grabbed my son’s face forcefully and told him to look at the board. Worst school ever. The principal is a joke who is only concerned with joking around and not taking anything serious. Viard is probably the worst teacher ever with no intention or plan to increase knowledge in our children. The school is only concerned with worrying if a student is dress code compliant but not concerned with the fact that they are not learning. Biggest mistake ever.
