Has a nonsmoking and smoking section! Has great food and drinks! Services are available if you need help with anything!
Newport is the sister gaming center to Turfway. It's located in a shopping center and is much smaller. However, the new member perks and FreePlay events make this location worth visiting. My mother and I visited on a quieter evening, but the place was still festive and fun.
We always have a good time. I don't recommend going when they are having a drawling, seems like the games are locked down. Other than that Carl is a great bartender!!
Wow what an amazing day/night Oct 2, 2021 at Newport Racing and Gaming! The FUN definitely comes easy here. It was their 1 yr anniversary of being open and wow it was a fun filled day of fun gaming, very clean environment, and exciting outside concert with the Naked Karate Girls! Wow what a great time we had,in this day in time it's nice and refreshing to feel appreciated from a KY entertainment business. A friendly staff that goes above and beyond. THANK YOU NEWPORT RACING and GAMING!
A co-worker and I decided to hit this place up the Thursday after it opened. We both enjoy slot machines and thought it would fun to see how this compared to the other local casinos. Fun fact: because slot machines are not legal in Kentucky, these are "Vegas-style machines," and you win based on randomized "historical racing data" from old horse races in the past - all computerized mumbo jumbo that you won't even realize . . . cuz guess what? They look and act just like slot machines. It's also very new, spotless, with man... read more
Been attending for almost 1 year now. They are Absolutely unprofessional, money hungry, & staff including management, have ZERO customer service skills. They definitely don't & won't resolve issues that they are responsible for & show that they do not care about regular paying customers. I strongly do not recommend, don't waste your time nor $. Try Belterra, which is 8/9mins away or HardRock in downtown Cincinnati. Trust me!
It's in a Strip Mall, which pretty much says it all. Don't expect to win so don't spend more than your comfortable with. There's a bar...better to spend your money there. Go to a real casino instead of whatever this is. That's my best advice.
I've vowed to never set foot in this horrible place again, after such depressing experiences the last 3-4 times I went. The first few times I went 4 years ago, I actually had fun and won several times - even a jackpot handpay in July 2021. But something changed drastically in the past few years, to the point that most of the machines seemed to be turned down/set so low that it's continual dead spins on them with the frustrating teasing crap over and over. The machines tease you to death with that 3rd or 4th symbol needed for... read more
Nobody was rude or anything but slots ( or whatever hey wanna call them) we're really pricey and didn't pay out much as other places I've been. Strip mall was safe and fine, alcohol was overpriced ( sneak a flask in and use the free pop machines). Overall my question would be why would anybody choose this Ollie's with slot machines over a real casino 3 miles away. Also the horse track off betting is as seriously depressing, kinda like Turfway used to be after 6:00.
