I had my inground pool about 25 years ago by Nicholas pools. I have replaced my liner twice which by the way had nothing to do with Nicholas pools. They have always treated me with respect, returned my phone calls no problem. They were always on time when they had an appointment with us. **** who is one of their installers and his sons were terrific. Very professional and polite. Horrible communication and no planning. Well over 2 years to get the pool "completed" but there are numerous dents/craters in the pool floor that still need to be fixed. Contract states estimated completion 6-8 weeks after excavation, well once we finally get to that point, it was another 8+ MONTHS.ALL of the subcontractors they use told me they have difficulties with Nicholas Pools.Contraction "manager" is extremely unprofessional and cannot communicate effectively. STAY FAR AWAY!!! I used Nicholas pools for a summer season to open,close and service my pool. The technicians that came did a really poor job. They didn't install the railings or put away the cover etc. It seemed like they wanted to do the least possible work. When we tried to reach them to mention this the customer service rep literally started screaming and yelling how her employees are the best in the market and I'm being too finicky. They deserve no stars the customer service you receive is none. They take your money and then could careless what happens next. It is nothing but excuse after excuse. They were sold to new owners who close on all Jewish Holidays and no one is allowed to use the computer or electronics due to their Hasidic beliefs. One of the worst run businesses ever experienced. I am having a new pool put in. Salesman said typically takes about 8 weeks give or take. The install was originally delayed because they could not get the pool kit due to the pandemic which I understand. Pool kit and all materials were delivered and now coming up to 5 months since the delivery with half an installation. Pool equipment is sinking into the excavated areas and company ignores my messages and pictures sent showing the deterioration. Messages go unanswered for day... read more
Almost impossible to reach on the phone, after leaving messages, call backs are rare. Paid $175 for a service call, said I had the wrong part and to call when I got correct one. Called and finally got another appointment, after I waited all day, technician did not show up, No one called to say he would not be coming. After 2 more days of calling, they said they would not install the part, being it was purchased somewhere else. So, paid $175 for nothing.
