If you're building a new home with True Homes, watch out for shoddy John F and his idea of True Homes' "quality" industry "standards", because if these are true, True Homes will leave you truly disappointed. Yes. That's heavy varnish on our banister, that we'd asked to have sanded down a month or so before close. Yes. I would never recommend this company to anybody. My wife and I were promised step by step updates on our new house...that was a lie. We were told to trust the "True Homes process" and that all of our issues would be fixed before closing...that was a lie. We closed in September 2024 (we had to because we had already sold our previous home) and as of this review in February 2025 we are still dealing with constant issues that should never have been a thing. 1. Do not buy a house from true homes!!! Worst company ever!! they don’t wanna fix anything after they get your money.. I haven’t been here for a year yet and everything cracking..
We love our home and our new neighborhood but are disappointed with the builder assigned to us and the sales team. First and foremost, go in with a realtor to look out for you. The sales team will do nothing for you after you sign the contract. I mentioned problems with the builder to my True salesperson and his response was "ugh, I cant do anything about that."
