When my family moved to Vancouver Island we needed a new family physician. Due to a doctor shortage in our new home community, we had to look to surrounding communities. Through word of mouth, we found Dr. Nataros starting in a new clinic and asked if he would take us on as new patients. Dr. Nataros is essential in his community. His patience, knowledge base and unwavering drive to fully understand his patients needs is indispensable.
I had him as a Dr for almost two years in the Comox Valley. He had a poor bedside manner. The first thing he did was to stop my quarterly blood tests I had been getting for years due to diabetes and other problems. I believe this to be the reason I had a heart attack, my cholesterol had gone through the roof. My final straw was when I showed up for a scheduled appointment, as did another lady, he wasn't there and his office couldn't locate him. He created a lot of trouble within Island Health also.
