My experience at this office and Dr. Mekala was amazing! The scheduling for my first visit was quick and easy, same with my second/last. The ladies at the front desk were nice and very helpful. The nurse that took my vitals was an amazing woman! She was very sweet and gave multiple compliments/ affirmations which helped put me at ease. Dr. Mekala was amazing as well. My doctor was Ashley Mekala and I was sent to go back post op. However, when I arrived at the clinic I was told I was at the wrong location. I was very confused because before surgery I had seen the doctor at the location in Keller. But they said I had to see the np at the nrh location. It was all very confusing and unorganized. Called specifically to know how much my visit would cost. I was told zero and then after my visit was told that I owed money. Their explanation was to ask who I spoke to and then to say the person I spoke to didn’t know what they were talking about. Not helpful. UPDATE: I called the number given in the Google response, I gave the person who answered the extension and was transferred to someone who said they would look into it. After going to all the necessary appointments the holdup was cardiology by the time cardiology finally approved me for surgery Dr Nguyen drop me from the program. Also I got covid and had issues with medical transportation but the nurses was calling back the wrong number and I had updated my number twice so that's not on me it's on your front desk and the necessary notes in the system So I feel like it was a waste of time so now I'm back at scratch looking for another bariatric doctor that takes Medicaid 😢
