RecommendedDr Essig and Dr Totten have been amazing with caring for my Bailey (dog) it’s been a long and complicated case but they have been invested and always caring with the hopes of finding a treatment that will help my baby girl ... thank you all for everything
RecommendedThe staff is very passionate very caring kept us informed how our puppy was doing. We could see how much they love animals the second we walked thru the door. Hands down the best animal facility I been to. I highly recommend northeast Indiana veterinary &specialty hospital for any and all your emergency and none emergency pet needs.
RecommendedI would recommend and appreciate the staff for their care and compassion. They are educated, professional and care about your family pets and will provide the best care possible. Pets are our family and cost sometime steep, but remember the time and commitment and cost of their schooling and education they endured to give your pets the best possible emergency/critical care. In my opinion sometime priceless. I have used for 2 of my fur babies and encourage you to remember them in time of emergency and specially needs.

RecommendedEven though we ended up losing our sweet pup, which was devastating to our family, we wanted to say how much we appreciated Dr Matthew. I wish he could’ve been there when we had to say goodbye to our precious dog. He is so caring and compassionate. He took the time to explain everything going on when our dog was sick and in the icu. He gave options, he listened to our concerns, and answered our questions. Thank you Dr Matthew.
RecommendedTook our precious 13yo male cat to local vet. Euthanizing was planned due to large intestine being completely compacted with feces, and local vet couldn’t get it out. Went to say our goodbyes but just couldn’t do it. One last ditch effort was to bring the cat here and THEY SAVED HIS LIFE!!!!!!! I have nothing but excellent words for this place. So nice, helpful , friendly and loving to us and our pet. Definitely will be coming back with (if) future issues.

RecommendedWe were referred to Dr. Totten by our vet after our Artemis was having trouble eating and vomiting. She was extremely helpful and kind through the entire process. When her diagnosis of lung cancer was given, she was very kind and thorough in her explanation. We will miss Artemis, but we are forever grateful to Dr. Totten and her staff.
RecommendedOur 8 month old Goberian puppy had swallowed a footie sock within seconds. We live in Ohio. No where to help here but had been to this pet hospital with a cat before. That hour drive was nerve wracking but they saved her life without surgery. So kind and the bill was far lower than we expected. God bless this staff for being there especially during this COVID-19 crisis. Dr. Richardson was awesome. “ Shiloh “ is still alive because of all of them.
