I've been to all the Y's in Richmond and this is my favorite one. It has such a homey feel to it which is truly a reflection of the staff, they are so genuine and hands on, they always have a smile on their face, always willing to help. There is always room, it has everything you need essentials wise. They don't have as many amenities as some of the other Y's but the energy truly makes up for it. It makes me look forward to my workouts.
I came in around 3:15 pm Friday and the lady at the front was so kind and helpful and then gentleman showed me around and was just as wonderful. I wish I had names but I’m sure you’ll know who I’m talking about. I was kinda nervous about working out for the first time in years but they put me at ease and made me very comfortable. What a great place!
Wow. Everyone is so friendly here Facility is busy but front desk person was incredibly helpful. Took a water aerobics class with Joan G that was the best one I have taken, anywhere. She was enthusiastic , music was great, and i had a full body workout while she pumped up my mind. The pool, showers and locker room were spotless. Well worth driving 20 minutes to be there
From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but on the inside it was a pleasant surprise. The moment we walked in, Carla at the front desk was very friendly and courteous. When I inquired about the coffee bar, she graciously brewed a fresh pot. The remodel looks spectacular. They have a comfortable lounge area where you can hang out and work, or just relax and watch some hoops. The locker rooms look brand new. Overall, a phenomenal experience!
Corrie is outstanding. She saved me so much on my monthly bill now that I am retired. It is all because she took the initiative and the time and trouble to look into my account. That is what real customer service and care is all about.
