The lockers themselves are decent, accounting for the sketchy location, but the website payment system has always been kludgy (you had to re-enter your locker location on different screens and the bill only showed up on the very day it was due, oddly listed as "past due"). Now, the new portal site setup may keep you in a logon loop, with generic email replies for a fix. They need to polish their Internet aspect to match the rest of the service. Always helpful, Noreen is also friendly. Love the facility! An old warehouse space with a freight elevator, closed with two grates. Whenever I went, which was during mornings or afternoons, I was always able to park in one of the two bays. Great place.

I have been pleased with the service and the facility. This is not fancy schmancy but the customer service is what sold us. I have had minimal problem parking in their 2 car entrance space but I always go on a week day. For what I need to store this is perfectly fine. My items do not have any dust on them so the place is sealed enough for an old building. They seem to keep up necessary repairs like the last time I noticed many of the elevator for straps had been replaced.

So convenient and very close to my place of business. I love that it is in a cool area of Portland and the building has character. What is even cooler is that there is a secret area where people have their businesses there, but it is a separate business office space area. If you are looking for affordable storage, this is the place. It does the job, it stores your stuff

Do not store here unless you want your items stolen!!!!!!!!! Our storage unit was professionally packed in May, and we returned in August to check on our unit. Upon opening our unit, we immediately realized our unit had been ransacked and nearly every box had been opened. We immediately notified the front office staff who told us to reach out to the insurance company and file a claim. We filed a police report and insurance report that same day. rented a small 3x5x8 unit sight unseen for my college daughter for summer storage. When we went to take control we found that it was closer to 6 ft high with a huge structural beam protruding across the top and more brick structural protrusion from the back. Additionally it was in an area called the Loft that was only accessed up a steep stairway (all other units are accessed with an elevator). I've had a storage space here for years BUT now our stuff is all covered with Pigeon sh*t !!. Thanks Portland Storage Too! Oh AND they just raised our monthly fee. Thanks again! A very trashy place. We are moving out ASAP and will continue spreading the word.

In the beginning my experience with Portland Storage Too was just fine. This place is super cheap and with a convenient location it was a no brainer when my husband and I reneted a 15x10 to store our stuff there for 2 years while we went to Boston. The problems are springing up now that we are trying to take our things OUT of storage. Yesterday should have been a normal business day at Portland Storage Too.
