This review is specifically for the head chef for the September 11th ballroom lunch event. The conference organizers did not send through the dietary requirements submitted for someone, but he went out of his way to accommodate kindly, accessibly, and respectfully. You are very lucky to have him.
Wonderful show. The tattoo was well worth the price of the ticket. The band sounded so great! The dancers were a favorite for me. The international acts were fabulous. Hopefully I'll get back next year. It was beautiful to see so many families and children loving the highland culture. Well done Halifax!!!
Feel like there should be more options for vendors, but everyone was selling the same thing, very expensive and a lot of items had already ran out 20 mins before the show even started! Parking can be an issue, but arena is good for viewing.
Staying at the hotel we were charged $53 dollars to park from 4PM until 11AM the next morning by the Nova Centre. The posted rates of $28 indicate you have to arrive after 6PM and leave the parking lot before 6am the next morning to not incur charges for the next parking window. Basically screwed over if you are staying at the hotel with these ridiculous times.
The Nova Center appears to be crammed in to an area thats to small? Across the harbour their a Great City called Dartmouth! Their hasn't been much change except for the Industrial area and Retail on the outskirts of the city. When is Dartmouth going to see new Infrastructure along the Harbors edge? With exception of a few small obscure buildings Dartmouth hasn't changed much since the 1970's.
