I can’t believe how incredible Nurse Next Door has been for my mother. The caregivers they provide have offered such wonderful support that it’s completely transformed her daily life. My mom seems like a different person now. The weight of everyday duties and household tasks has been lifted off her shoulders. Thank you so much! This is probably one of the hardest industries to be in if you ask me. To become part of a family's life as they struggle with a sick parent. Seeing, hearing and feeling the daily emotions and struggle a family goes through as they try and cope. All I can say is Nurse Next Door, Rafa and all the caregivers became part of our family over the last 5+ months as they helped us take care of our beloved mom up until the very second she passed away. We had the great pleasure of working with the caregiver Adele. The attention and love she gives to my wife is unmeasurable. As a husband who is now also a caregiver I am blessed with Adele and how she teaches me to care for my wife. Adele also works great with the hospice nurses that visit occasionally. Beyond taking care of my wife, she is also there to offer me emotional support and a comforting feeling that, in the end everything will be okay. Wonderful company to work with! I was able to hire them for immediate next day service for my mom. They worked with us on how much time we could afford, most company’s have standard 4 hour daily minimums. Trips to appointments, laundry or grocery were included in price. Mariana is so sweet, she helped me pack up my mom’s stuff when it was time to move, & then returned to clean up the empty apartment for us. I was kept in the loop on all aspects of mom’s care. I use Nurse Next Door to pick me up from Dr appointments where I am not in a safe condition to drive and bring me home safely. They are always very professional and do their best to make sure they have someone available even when it is last minute notice. Their pricing is fair in comparison to other services I’ve used but they are much more flexible and professional.
