The coordinators are communicative and flexible. The companions are kind and engaging with my loved one. The only thing to improve is that the companion was changed a number of times at the beginning of our time with Nurse Next Door. This service has been a great help to m5 family!

I hired this service for a friend with dementia to provide meal care, housekeeping, and medication dispensing. Generally, the staff were quite good though most were not familiar with caring for someone with dementia nor did they get any formal training from Nurse Next Door based on conversations I had with them. Turnover in staff was frequent and occasionally shifts were cancelled with little notice. I can’t thank Nurse Next Door in Winnipeg enough for the most excellent and heartfelt care that they gave to my mother during the pandemic when she fell and hurt herself in her apartment. The staff was amazing and helped my mom with all of her needs. Truly appreciate the level of service we received ❤️. Thank you to everyone who helped my mom Betty.

Very poor and disappointing experience. Buyer beware as they say. I had made notes regarding pricing for 2 nights and passed the pricing on to the family members who needed it. When I received the billing the amount was $18/hr more than what I was quoted for the first night as it was deemed "urgent care". This was not expressed to me in the intake conversation and it was a very specific question. Interestingly, I had signed 3 forms for this care and the pricing was not in writing. I want to thanks the wonderful staff at Nurse Next Door for all their help when I was very sick in May of this year. I had around the clock health care until I started to get better. I met a wonderful lady who still helps me every second Saturday. I wold highly recommend this company for helping in my recovery. Thanks June
