My experience at Oakmont Guest Care Center has always been phenomenal! The staff is always very pleasant and always goes above and beyond. We greatly appreciate and thank each and every staff and volunteer, keep up the good work!

I don’t recommend. I feel they are under staff and the residents don’t get the care they need. They take over 45 minutes to answer call lights when it can be a clear emergency. They don’t asked the phone after 5pm. I went up there at 8pm to check on my Mom after being on her cellphone with her for 45 minutes and no one came to help her. When I arrived there was a nurse sitting on top of a desk laughing and talking. The food is horrible some days and served cold. DO YOUR RESEARCH. These reviews are not accurate. On the Medicare website they are a 2 and cited for abuse. They have been fined thousands of dollars for not following the state Medicare guidelines. They do not provide the care that your loved one deserves. They will look you straight in the eye and tell you an untruth. This is a private owned facility and they do have a remodeled building that they spent a lot of money on. That's what caught our eye. Please do your research before you move a loved one into this facility. It’s made what is already an emotional and difficult time worse on our entire family. We put our faith in this facility only to be let down time and time again. Neglect and just not doing what they say they are going to do has made the health of our love one decline rapidly. We are very happy with the staff, medical attention and the overall facility that has become home to my sister. Each time I visit her, I am greeted with smiling faces, often with hugs, from both the nursing and administrative staff. The facility is typically clean, vibrant and nicely appointed. At Oakmont, she is cared for and loved, which takes much of the burden off my caregiving shoulders. It's not easy to care for those who cannot care for themselves, and I salute all of you!
