It’s a small, pretty, caring facility that is Christian based. It has really worked out for our family, and I couldn’t be more pleased. They accepted both of my parents, and one was quite weak and went on Hospice. They care for both parents well.
Very nice and caring. Can't keep cleaning and clothes washing staff though.
It was close to my home and my parents were in a rush to find a place due to frequency of falling and leaving rehab soon and could not go home without 24 hour care and that was too expensive. Other places weren't sure if they could accept him. They also had a special at the end of the month. But we have been very pleased with how kind everyone is. We have enjoyed it and they have made it so easy for us and are very loving and concerned about both of my parents.

A few weeks ago, I called the Oaks at Acworth and spoke with [name removed] who I believe is the Ex Director. My father had been in the hospital and I was informed that they were going to be discharging him. Based on his condition, I knew he couldn't return home where I would like and was scrambling to find a place for him to go. I was frantic and didn’t know what to do. We chose The Overlook at Cerdarcrest because it was a nice, clean, cozy facility. The room sizes were very large. The food was not very good, it was not cooked well. I would want others to know when looking into the facility that the staff members were very attentive with their care here. My favorite part about the community would have to be the staff members. I would absolutely recommend.
