I understand why the reviews at this clinic is low. I rate 2 star instead of 1 was just Dr. Jenn is wonderful. but I don’t trust the accounting and reception staff. I emphasized to both the nurse and doctor that the lab must be sent to Quest since my insurance only accepts Quest. However, I still received results from LabCorp. I called the office to have it corrected, but the nurse told me I had to deal directly with LabCorp and my insurance, which isn’t right. OB/GYN Associates has been my provider for as long as I can remember. Janice at the counter is lovely and so warm and welcoming! I cannot express in words how kind and compassionate Laura Fraser is. She listens. She doesn't rush. She doesn't judge. Laura is one of the best people I have ever met, and I know she is willing to listen that extra minute (not even necessarily about my OB/GYN care) to make sure I am taken care of. This office has had my ultrasound results for almost 2 days and no one has talked to me about results despite repeated attempts to call. This is so wrong to make a patient wait this long on pins and needles. I had this test done over a week ago. Nothing posted to my portal either. This is complete negligence to have results and not discuss it with a patient in this time frame.
I’ve been going to this practice for years, and never had any issues until yesterday. I have recently switched to Dr. Rojek. I have no issues with her at all and she seems great. The practice itself, not so much. I’m not one to usually write bad reviews, but the way this practice handled my situation yesterday was absolutely unacceptable. I recently changed doctors offices due to my favorite doctors leaving the practice. I found OBGYN associates of WNY. And further research, I found Dr. Amber Kohl. My first visit was in October. And she was incredible. It was a breath of fresh air to finally find a woman doctor who listened to me and immediately took action. She didn't rush me out of her office, she came up with resolutions rather than suggesting to "lose weight and you should be fine".
