You get what you get really. Staff is nice but some dudes (especially the Hispanic man with the weird hairstyle) clearly are there to hit on their female counterparts and make friends. I went in the summer and two people almost got into a fist fight ruining the mood creating a completely unsafe atmosphere probably the last time I'll ever come to this place.
Biolife is the place to go!!! Changing now to 1 star because they changed the center hours to all close at 5pm If you all close at 5pm how does someone who works business hours 9-5pm be able to donate? You would have to take off work just to donate for the second time Assuming I donate on Saturday then I would never be able to do a second donation during the week since we work 9am-5pm and the location closes at 5pm This location used to offer 6pm closing times on friday so that you could at least do Friday and Sunday but... read more
Booked & confirmed new donor appointment online. But when I showed up, after waiting in a long line, was told they were not doing new donors cause they were understaffed. There was only 1 person doing vitals & there were 10 regular donors waiting to have their vitals checked. No apology and/or option to reschedule. I've been visiting Octapharma for a couple months now and every visit has been exceptional. The monetary compensation is a bonus to knowing that you're providing life saving help. The staff always makes sure you're comfortable and that you understand the process fully. The only downside is that you do sometimes have a long wait. Just depends on how busy the center is at that time.
