I have just switched from a different company’s donation center to OctaPharma because my previous center closed on Sundays. I am impressed with their throughput and courtesy. They listened to all my needs when I brought them up. Their equipment is modern and up to date. The staff is efficient, kind and considerate. I would like hours to be a little earlier in the morning. Chris was very nice & helpful. I feel like he went above and beyond to fix a situation. All other employees are great and do their job well.
Around 2:00 PM on 1/29 - One person screening people out of the many rooms available. She was laughing so loud and told a donor to play loud music on his speaker so she can check it out. Wasting time on an already understaffed day it seems. Extremely unprofessional for the establishment. BioLife in Bollingbrook is way better. I walked out without even getting called for the new donor screening. Ridiculous.
Aurora location is clean and respectful. I was in and out. I have had some of the best people working with me there. So polite and welcoming. I highly recommend if you can get to this location, do so. Thanks for all you are doing to make my visit worthwhile!
Delays for no reason. Usually wait 15min waiting room, 30min inside room just to start the process. Won't go in order of arrival or completion. Slow and rude staff. Please hire professionals not people yelling expletives and incomplete sentences. Thanks.
