If you’ve ever been worried this procedure might hurt…IT HURTS at Octapharma! Went to this location for the first time and it was horrific! Over 3 hour wait. Once in the back, those that attended me were very under trained and under educated and did not have in place a procedure in case one of their plasma machines malfunctioned. After jabbing me in the left arm and leaving me for almost 15 minutes without any flow, they came back and began moving the needle every which way for several minutes while spilling blood onto an... read more
The ladies at Octapharma are so nice! They are very patient and calming. I have never had an issue at Octapharma. The place is clean and welcoming.
The staff is the nicest I’ve ever met. Cookie is a very sweet lady. I love it when she’s here. I had Cookie stick me today for my donation and didn’t even feel it. She has an awesome personality. I started donating in April 2025 and keep coming. Other than Cookie there’s only a few others that I love interacting with and they are Que, Michele, and Brenda. There’s a few others but I’m not 100% on their names but know them by face. I definitely recommend this facility over other in Tallahassee.
They are very patient with a lot of weird people compared to other places. I invested my $60 in stuff that can help me get a better job! If you're looking for a way to partially finance a job search and you're not weird, this is solid place to donate.
Short staff. I had to wait 1:30 before that because there was only one person on the front desk for checking in procedure and no nurse for physical. Besides the long wait, I was lucky to have the best nurse to set me up for the plasma donation. Brenda was super sweet and kind.
