Truly the worst billing department in all of history. They are QUICK to send you to collections over anything no matter how small the amount is. I set up a payment plan with them and then all of a sudden I get an email that it was cancelled. I checked my account and my new balance was $0, I called and they told me they sent my bill to collections even though I was actively paying the payments on my payment plan. I switched providers to Intermountain.

Wife was seen by Ogden Clinic’s staff at Ogden Regional, bill was never received or mentioned at follow on visits. Sent to collections with no notice or statement stating debt. Called numerous times and never told about these bills. After receiving a summons, I call and they inform me that I wouldn’t be able to see bills from that time period because they changed systems, but I have kept statements from them that show visits from that same time period. They still owe me money for overpayments but have not paid anything back ... read more

After 15 years we changed providers to avoid Ogden Clinic. Ogden Clinic accepts our insurance, but constantly illegally balance bills when they provide services before getting valid authorizations or fail to submit claims properly. We pay copays and do not have a deductible. The billing office is centralized and refuses to work with their own providers or contracted insurers. I’ve had ongoing issues with the billing department at this office. Last year, right before I gave birth, they called to tell me I suddenly owed $500 that no one had mentioned before. I was completely unprepared for it and felt awful when they asked how I was going to afford a baby. It was humiliating and stressful during an already emotional time. Now it’s happening again. I was in the process of moving, and in just a couple of weeks, my bill was sent to collections. The whole experience was a nightmare. It was assigned to one person, Jackie, and after several rounds of phone tag, I finally reached her. She told me a summons had been issued over a $200 bill. Needless to say, I’ll be going out of my way to avoid the Ogden Clinic in the future.
